The mobile kitchen originally launched in Bradford in December 2012. In April 2013 we launched in InTouch Keighley and in May 2014 we launched InTouch Leeds. We are now looking to work with local teams to expand our project into neighbouring cities. Since the project launched - across the cities we have distributed in excess of 200,000 meals.
The aim of the mobile kitchen is to provide hot food and drinks to people that are either living in poverty or are homeless. Including cooked meals, hot drinks and snacks.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have different backgrounds, faiths and races.
We have been truly humbled by the community spirit as volunteers and sponsors have come together to make the project a success.
Project Ayaana - previously known as InTouch Community is a Social welfare project being set up to promote community cohesion and work with those individuals who need our help the most locally and internationally. Project Ayaana works with communities and other charities to inspire them to make a positive difference in their local community or internally. We have many exciting projects
- Peace (Salam)
- Love (Hubb)
- Inspire (‘Alahum)
Project Ayaana was set up in the memory of our Late Granddad Dr Mohammad Suliman who passed away in October 2014. Dr Suliman was a true humanitarian working as a field doctor in rural pakistan for over 50 years. His compassion and love to the most vulnerable inspired us to carry his legacy on.
We are always looking and coming up with unique creative projects on how to bring a smile on someone face to break down barriers.
Unique projects throughout the year to help support those in need locally and internationally.
Unique projects which allows people to take part in exciting adrenaline filled activities while making a difference in their local community.
Social action projects which encourage donors to leave their legacy by either planting a tree, donating a well and other exciting projects where people can leave their mark on the wold.
At Project Ayaana, we believe small kindnesses build a better world. Our vision is a world where everyone respects and loves one another.
Our values are shaped by Dr Suliman’s life and our Islamic faith. We create innovative ways to help the less fortunate – in the UK and worldwide – regardless of race, belief, or background.
Our mission is to inspire everyone to leave their legacy. We bring communities together, foster understanding of all cultures and religions, and take social action locally and globally to end suffering.
